Teo Cabanel is a small exclusive perfumery originally established in Algiers around 1893. The perfume house moved to Paris in 1908, where it became the preferred perfumery of the Dutchess of Windsor. Fast forward to this century, and you'll find that Teo Cabanel has reasserted itself as a creator of luxurious perfumes using the finest natural elements. The master perfumer is Jean-Fracois Latty, who is the "nose" behind all three fragrances. In 2005, Teo Cabanel launched two perfumes; Oha and Julia. In 2007, they launched Alahine, which is one of my favorite perfumes of all time. In June of this year (2008) they are launching a brand new fragrance which I simply cannot wait to smell and to introduce to you!

	Alahine Oh, Teo Cabanel Alahine, how do I love thee? I cannot count the ways! Alahine is overall an ambery oriental. Alahine opens with notes of bergamot, lavender and ylang ylang then moves into a heart of Bulgarian and Moroccan rose, orange flower, jasmine and pepper plant and then dries down with iris concentrate...patchouli, benzoin, vanilla, sandalwood and musk. I know the above is perhaps difficult to imagine so let me try to describe the wonder of Alahine in my own words...It is a well-mannered oriental, not rough around the edges but utterly lady-like and expensive smelling. I'm impressed by Alahine’s transformation. It starts out with a feminine floral note, a burst of citrus, jasmine & ylang-ylang. After the fragrance dries down it only gets better as the pepper, iris and the sexy bits start to bloom, but it’s sexy in a very subtle way, it's the chic interesting woman in the corner of the room who never has to try to catch your attention. The woman who wears Teo Cabanel is sophisticated, and charming but never overdone.

	Julia Teo Cabanel’s Julia presents a fresh sparkling dawn of mandarin from Sicily married to a basis of rhubarb greens and tart blackcurrant. The heart is tinted with a green note of jasmine, hyacinth and violet. The fragrance finishes on a warm vapor rising from sandalwood, incense, citrus and a hint of raspberry mellowing into a musk basis. Julia is the perfume for every woman, for all occasions, and especially nice for daytime/office wear. It brings to mind a bouquet of impressionist flowers. Both voluptuous and subtle, Julia is made for vibrant women with a strong love and passion for life. Julia is breathtakingly lovely. It’s a simply sublime floral scent. 	Oha Teo Cabanel Oha is a fragrance that combines the most precious and noble essences. A fresh sweep of bergamot in harmony with a delicate tea aroma. Voluptuous roses from Bulgaria & Morocco and jasmine from Egypt, create its heart of spicy notes enhanced with Guatemala Cardamom. Suddenly, Oha luxuriates in the captivating powdery notes of vanilla, iris, tonka bean and exotic woods lifted by a note of white musk.
