Iris is the 2010 edition to Donna Karan’s iconic wardrobe of fragrances.
Orris Butter, derived
from the roots of the Iris plant, is blended with Iris absolute, violet
flower, magnolia, rose de mai, vetiver and ambrette seed resulting in a
sensual and elegant fragrance which exudes femininity.
Donna Karan Iris is not the rooty-cold-damp iris of Serge Lutens Iris Silver Mist nor is it the floral blend of Acqua di Parma Iris Nobile, it is quite possibly, the middle ground many have been seeking in an iris scent.
