Laura Mercier created a fragrance in 2005 called Ambre Passion in eau de parfum format. Oddly, this highly popular scent is no longer found and quite possibly discontinued.
Ambre Passion Elixir is meant to invoke 2005's Ambre Passion in edp, yet the Elixir is thick and viscous, definitely a pure parfum type concentration but nearly verging on an oil. The bottle itself isn't a spray top, it's meant to be dabbed.
Ambre Passion Elixir is quite a lovely amber scent, simply perfect for cold climates. It isn't especially sweet or cloying and it wears nicely for several hours, albeit close to the skin, so it's a low sillage fragrance.
Notes: geranium, saffron, apricot, rose, jasmine, patchouli, amber, cedarwood, and musk
