Parfums Divine is a small niche perfume house from France, started in Dinard, a seaside town in Brittany.  Dinard isn’t Grasse, and it certainly isn't Paris, nor is Dinard chic or especially trendy. Yvon Mouchel is the perfumer for Parfums Divine, who, as the story goes, owned his own perfume boutique before deciding to create the juice himself. The idea of this small perfumery, creating classically beautiful fragrances, and becoming successful almost solely by word of mouth, should help you understand that these perfumes are of the highest quality.  Virtually all of the fragrances from Divine are classically styled, so one ought to be a lover of retro perfumes or "old fashioned" fragrances in order to appreciate the offerings from Parfums Divine.
