Bois des Iles was created by Ernest Beaux as part of
Chanel's Rue Cambon Collection.
Bois de Iles edt opens with a blast of aldehydes and a disinfectant note. The initial spritz and first five
minutes aren’t nice. It is worth it to hang in there though because Bois de Iles blossoms into a beautifully soft woodsy-floral fragrance.
Bois de Iles is a gift to those who love sandalwood. The base is a velvety soft sandalwood with just a smidgen of powder and floral notes. Once it dries down the sillage is very soft but it's a tenacious little fragrance because the light aroma lingers on your skin all day.
Notes: aldehydes, coriander, bergamot, neroli, peach,
jasmine, rose, lily of the valley, iris, ylang-ylang, vetiver, sandalwood,
