When Ron Robinson, owner of Los Angeles beauty emporium Apothia at Fred
Segal Melrose, decided to create a fragrance, he set about it in a rather revolutionary way.
First, he elicited input from 100 women across the country,
including actresses Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Garner and musician Willa Ford.
Then he commissioned Sarah Horowitz, the perfumer behind the cult fragrance
brand Creative Scentualization, to make it.
Apothia .if, is a hip, fashionable and elegant scent. Notes are a combination of Japanese citrus, exotic white flower and a clean pacific musk. The result is simultaneously fresh and sexy.
