The famed perfumer, Maurice Roucel, created Insolence and it
launched in 2006.
It’s said that Insolence is Roucel’s tribute to L’Heure
Bleue. In a way, Insolence might seem a
bit like a modern version of L’Heure Bleue, since it is a scent focused
predominantly on violets, but it certainly stands on its own merits. Insolence is a sweet, candied violet scent
with lovely fruity topnotes and a base of vanilla and sandalwood.
Insolence notes include: violet, raspberry, red fruit pulp,
rose, orange blossom, iris, tonka bean, musk and sandalwood.
