| Liu was originally created in 1929 by Jacques Guerlain.
Jacques Guerlain said this fragrance was "an olfactory
poem dedicated to femininity,” and is named after the character in Puccini's
opera Turandot. Liu was reissued in 2005
for the renovated flagship Guerlain store on the Champs-Elysees. The re-orchestrated
perfume was created by Jean Paul Guerlain.
