Though JCE has stated that this is the first time gentian is
used in perfumery, I wonder if he missed Guerlain Acqua Allegoria
Gentiana?
In Eau de Gentiane Blanche, the gentian is matched with iris
root creating a dry, fresh and bitter fragrance. The base is a variety of white musks, soft
incense and powdery notes.
