Hanae Mori, the great lady
of Japanese fashion and Parisian haute couture, introduced this fragrance in
1996 and the subtle composition of scents make it unlike any other.
The
fragrance is a rare blend of berries and flowers, with a distinctive tone of
strawberries and almond, giving an overall impression of vanilla. Hanae Mori Butterfly is light, ethereal and delicate
but sticks around on your skin a surprisingly long time. I really love this fragrance. It's essentially a fruity floral but different and more sophisticated than most others.
The different colors of Hanae Mori Butterfly refer to the potency of the perfume (blue, pink, yellow). This is Hanae Mori Blue Butterfly which is the more potent of the three. I don't recommend pink or yellow butterfly.
