Addicted to Almond
There's a limited edition soap from Lush that makes me drool.  It's called Snowcake and it's only sold around the December holidays each year.  Snowcake is what made me realize I have a penchant for almond fragrances, it's like marzipan that lathers and soothes.  

There's a blurry line between the scent of almonds, cream, honey and vanilla in perfumery.  Most times, it's heliotrope that gives a fragrance it's fluffy vanilla-almond scent.  But heliotrope is a flower so there is just as often a floral quality to the fragrances in this category.  Add to this the fact that there was a recent trend in perfumery for the scent of Loukhoum, a middle eastern dessert consisting of cherries, almonds and vanilla.

This sampler set contains some of the best heliotrope/almond fragrances we've ever sniffed.
