Mona di Orio Carnation is not named after the flower but the French word carnation which means the bloom on a maiden's cheek.  MdO Carnation is creamy, musky and mildly spicy.  It is a sensual floriental with an interesting dry down that is different on everyone. Notes include - Top: bergamot, clove and geranium Heart: ylang ylang, violet, jasmine and precious woods base: musk, amber and styrax. Carnation is an eau de parfum / edp.
