What a nice surprise. Montale Chypre Vanille is a gorgeous dry and powdery vanilla fragrance. The name only hints at the wondrous depths of this fragrance.   Chypre Vanille is an understated, dry amber and vanilla with a beautiful sandalwood and rose heart note.  There's a slight earthiness, but it's quite subtle, of vetiver, soft woods and incense in the base. Just beautiful. Chypre Vanille is an eau de parfum / edp, and like most Montale fragrances it has excellent longevity.
